Baixungdas: Baixungdas’ Way to the NSC 2015 set for January 24

Our NSC 2015 calendar of events, wich includes regional and territorial selection dates, links to the live action, and events like NSC in Concert and the Arcadia NSC Party - is filling up fast. Today we add another date: January 24. On that day, Baixungdas will stage Baixungdas' Way to the NSC 2015 - its selection for the NSC 2015! BTV made the announcement on their official Facebook page.

The regional final will take place on the same night as regional finals in Kyushu, Valdezian and the Yorma Islands.

It's expected that 16 acts will take place in the contest. BTV will fill the vacancies through an open submission / application process. During the televised final, six artist will perform their respective songs and 7 special juries together with public televote will determine the winner.

BTV promises to reveal the acts during today or tomorrow.

Norek: Stephanie Marquez wins first heat at NMC 2015

Six acts performed in the first heat of the New Music Competition 2015, but only one could win. And thankfully for fans of dancepop, victory went to Stephanie Marquez! Her second song "Remix" proved to live up to its name. The well-known singer had an extravagant look, worked her camera angles and showed real presence as she earned a spot in the final. As you can tell from her rather nervous looks in the photo above, she had no idea whether she'd get through or not!

Stephanie Marquez's first song surprised by finishing second. She'll join Katy Soft, Zamia and Shaffer in the semi-final.

Sadly for J Sandra, tonight marks the end of the road. She came last and will have to pack up her colorful dress and go home.

Tonight: First live show from Norek

Tonight is the first heat of the Norekian regional selection The New Music Competition (NMC 2015). It's taking place in the Venetian Theater in Silveria. Contestants will be showing all their feathers knowing that, based on votes from the public and a professional jury, one artist will be advancing to the final and one will be eliminated. You can watch the live stream of the show, starting at 20:00 CUCT.
